Yes, but at that point we can do a slippery slope argument, and allow all sorts of things will follow. As such I set some bounds of how far that can go. Even some of the TF2 characters cuss, doesn't mean the actual players need to.

I think it's perfectly fine if you disagree with the call on he ban. It's your prerogative; However, making a Youtube video with the title of "Skial: being stupid" sounds a bit childish. Especially since you weren't there, weren't one of the parties involved in the ban and you took the word of some kid who may or may not be giving you the whole story from that day. It's like a kid coming home and telling their parents they were bullied and the parents going off on the other kid's parents without knowing what was all involved. If you wanted to inquire about ban policies then the adult thing to do would have been to pm Bottiger and talk about it server admin to server admin or just make a post in Ban Appeals.

The title was more of the contents of the video, and not stating Skial was being stupid, thus "Skial:" being related to skial, and ": being stupid" about the contents.

As I stated previously I was asked not to get involved with the ban request when asked by the player, otherwise I would have. The person who was banned though is trustworthy.

You know what I like, the fact you come here and are non confrontational about the whole thing. Bottiger posted it as something funny and you seem to be just putting your viewpoint across rather than fuelling a flame war. You can always turn your sounds off so you can't hear the bad words coming from the characters. That's what I do.

I'm not really sure if Bottigers decision to post this was anything worthwhile (because he doesn't really try to provoke a discussion, but rather just make fun of the reaction) but I respect Mun for keeping his head cold and went into this and continued a dialogue with a nice standard of maturity.

Lol he makes a youtube clip of the demo devin made, showing them breaking rules, and then complains when they are banned.

In the end, I mean no offense to Skial, but I do feel like the ban was wrong, and thus the post and video.
