Help Me! Another Mac help thread.

So I need to find a way to rig both my headsets to work at the same time.
I need to be able to use the sound on my bose, and the mic on my turtlebeach.
Reason? I can't hear spies decloak with my turtlebeach, and my turtlebeach has horrible music quality.
It also itches a bit...

So, the problem is I've got a headset input, and an auxiliary input. I need to know how to get both headsets to work with those inputs. I was considering going and getting a headset splitter, but I'm sure I can do it without spending money.

I don't know if they will work with a 3.5mm input and an aux input. But it does work with two usb inputs.

Alright I installed those, and it's giving me the option of picking sound a 2ch, and a 64ch? Not really sure what that is.

Edit: I can see where it's allowing me to edit where the sound comes out, but no matter what I do sound continues to only come out of the headset plugged into the headset port. Nothing from the other.
 
1. Find where you installed "LineIn", then make as many copies of the app as the number of headsets you want to use. Each copy needs its own name. e.g., "LineIn1", "LineIn2", etc. so that your Mac will happily run them.

2. In System Preferences, set the audio output to go to Soundflower.

3. Start all the copies of LineIn.

4. In each copy of LineIn, set the "Input from" to "Soundflower", and set the "Output to" to one of the headsets (a different headset in each copy of LineIn). Then click the "Pass Thru" button in each LineIn.

So, I think I did it right. But there's no sound out of either headset now.

is it 2ch in the system prefrences? if not troubleshoot.

change it to 64ch in prefrences and keep it at 2 in LineIn. doesnt work change both lineins to 64.

System preferences says both soundflowers "The selected device has no output controls"
Once I change everything to 64, there's no audio output at all. It still picks up sound from my mic, but there's no feedback whatsoever.
 
Assuming you followed the directions right, i guess it only works with USB headphones. i don't know of another way without a splitter. i dont have a mac with me that i can mess with

Yea, it's fine. Another thing I noticed is when I select 64 in the system menu, it only sends sound through the right headphone. And 2 only sends really low quality sound.
