Hey I am a 35 yr old mother of two who games. Don't be ashamed.. Just means we aren't boring. ^_^

I am ashamed of:
• Anything I posted on the internet before the age of 18
• My high school work ethic (or lack thereof)
• The inevitability that at someday I'll have a PC decent enough to run TF2 without problems and discover that I actually just blow dick at the game

It really didn't seem like you were 'ashamed' to say what you said. There are people with Downs Syndrome that actually have careers as actors and make a decent living for themselves. Where do we draw the line of mental disability of people that deserve to just die and those that do not? Also what about physical disabilities? I realize that Stephen Hawking's disability came later in life, but what using the Spartan ideals? What if a potentially great mind was discarded because of birth defects?

Also I am not ashamed to play video games at my age, it is that I am ashamed I may be missing something as a parent while I am playing.

I'm not really ashamed of my ideas just ashamed to admit it because of over-liberal society that obviously thinks every life is "precious"...

I suppose I should specify that I am referring to the ones who cannot take care of themselves or function on their own, I assumed that was clear. Obviously there are functioning "mentally challenged" adults who can take care of themselves. And there will always be Temple Grandin's and idiot savants who make great contributions but these people are not generally in need of care takers, function on their own, and can have relationships.

And I didn't say anthing about you playing video games but ok?

Really man, you don't have to be! Honestly, the idea there going to flip a lid and kill you is stupid honestly. Most of them honestly just wanna be like any other kid - Talk with ya, be your friend, etc. Just because they act a bit different and can't do some of the stuff you and me can do doesn't mean there bad people :)
