So, this post is going to be deleted. The program was fine and nice! Got the tux and everything! Now, i log in to my email.. I see: Dear xpsync,

This is an automated message generated by Steam account administration to help you reset your Steam password.
Please enter the following code into the 'Verification Code' field of the 'Forgotten Password' dialog. (Enter the code exactly as written. You can use copy/paste operations to enter the code)

I want to say it was the program. You might be saying: Bullcrap its your friend n stuff. NO! Why would you try to recover my pass? It just sounds so stupid. I see so many forum admin. I have a feeling that this post is gonna deleted but oh well..

I would have to say someone else is trying to hack into your account or something. Many people have used this program, including myself.I have not head this from anyone.

It doesn't make any sense for it to be the program. You entered the password into that program. If it was, it would have no need to reset your password since it already has it.

Why? We didn't make it, we even say use at your own risk. Did you download the program from the link in this thread?

I doubt they'd need to "reset" your password, they already have your login info, and steamguard would require them to have access to your email as well.

Edit: I blame zebra.

I hope Valve comes up with a way to separate the legit Tuxs' (Tuxes, Tuxi?) from the ones obtained from this hack. :suspicious:

I don't think it's considered a hack, Aaaaaah the script did the same thing in 5 minutes as the whole crap with Ubuntu you had to go through. Anyway Valve wanted to get non-linux users to play TF2 through Linux when they released the update, and there is no way to see the difference between Ubuntu and the script.

besides the name change

I don't think Valve really cares about people using Linux... It's just a promotion and anyone who has never used Linux or always wanted to but didn't cuz no vidya games now has the chance to try it out.
