i did this quickly anyways if anyone tries to get on my account then i'll be on it for atleast 72 hours after this there won't be retries i this is a scam that steals info as of how many people have tried this, but i can say i do have a penguin and i like it

You all ARE aware that you can install Ubuntu through windows, then uninstall it correct? I've been using Linux for about 6 years, and honestly, it has only gotten easier. If you use the Wubi Installer, you can install Ubuntu, you can get Steam for Linux, get your penguin, uninstall it, and never use Linux or contribute to its community. I find it sad that people will blindly use a program downloaded from some back alley of the internet to try and get a TF2 item and risk their computer's security. Sheesh.

Why would you spend over and hour doing something that you can do in less than two minutes?

Where is this internet back alley you speak of? Sounds fun...

I find it more sad that people spend hours of their day literally doing exactly this:
  1. Install Linux
  2. Install Steam
  3. Install TF2
  4. Run TF2 - get item
  5. Uninstall Linux
It has the exact same effect as the open source program but takes much longer and involves more headaches.
 
The program is still on Dwox's site, if anyone really wants it. There's no way to stop it from changing your name, though.
You should get wrecked, kid if you need it that badly. It's too fucking easy to install Ubuntu.
 
Wouldn't this get your Tux removed or something? Kind of like how they removed all the items people got through idling programs?

I don't think there is a way for them to tell aside from the name change. And they can't just assume everyone who changed their name to "i cheated for a tux" used the program.

I suppose so, but why would anyone change their name to "i cheated for a tux" if they didn't actually use the program?

So they can be annoying, to troll their friends, and then there's people with names like "i cheated for a tux also" and "GUIZ I CHEATED FOR A TUX LEL"
 
Tux is going to be so worthless so many peoe will have it. When they make it trade able the market will be filled with so many of them. I hope valve deletes all the ones people cheated for it
