Admin Experience: In a slightly larger context, I have been in several leadership positions in my school. For the first year of my high school career, I was just an ordinary volunteer. I was engaged in volunteer activity for several organizations, but I was quiet. After becoming a leading officer of Interact Club and an executive of Spanish Honor Society, I am more vocal. At my school and in my community, I actively push for change and encourage my peers into community projects. This year, I have kept my peers informed of various local fundraisers and events for worthwhile causes. Most recently, I was responsible for handing out voter certificates and documenting files in my precinct. Not only have I always helped out at events, but I have also found a new talent as a leader and coordinator, keeping things running smoothly.
Prior to playing Team Fortress 2, I was a forum moderator in a now-mediocre game called DriftCity. Moderators were chosen by past experience and the treatment of others. I resigned due to the current state of the game: hacks are still ubiquitous and the developers lack the resource and time of patching hacks promptly. DriftCity players will not be surprised if the game closes soon: http://driftcity.gamescampus.com.
Additional Information: I am 17 years old so by virtue of this, I am in the emerging adulthood stage. Although I may or may not be as old as some of you, I do believe I have the capacity to obviously think abstractly and make decisions impartially and not arbitrarily. Bare in mind that I have not been playing since Tuesday due to internet issues. Nevertheless, I play substantially therefore I monitor substantially. As an admin, I will definitely strive to have an authoritative parenting style of rule. Having accumulated more than one thousand hours of play on Skial, I believe I am capable of being an admin: I make sure I inform naive players of false assumptions and warn players who do not abide by Skial's server rules, banning them if extremely necessary. Honestly, I don't visit most servers other than ORANGE. But, that does not mean I will not visit other servers albeit ORANGE lacks admins.
