Shula's Dessert table is open again..

Made these for my kid's classroom. Sugar cookies, icing and slightly melt a marshmallow and the pop it on and decorate. Easy stuff.

Sometimes if I have baked potatoes left over I will make these in the morning. It's called an Idaho Sunrise. Cut the top off the baked potatoes, hollow them out, toss in chopped n cooked bacon , raw egg, cheese and parsley or whatever you think would be good. Then bake for 20 mins or so @ 350 deg F.

Had Some company, so threw together a bit of a menagerie of a dinner.

Starting from the top left to right:
Bacon wrapped Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon
Mussels cooked in a white wine and garlic sauce
Twice baked potatoes with bacon, cheddar cheese, chives, sour cream

Middle of the plate:
Spicy Thai style shrimp
Garlic, lime, cilantro shrimp
Pinwheels - cream cheese, dried cranberries, feta cheese, walnuts, scallions rolled up in a tortilla and then sliced
Grilled Rib eye - Cooked over charcoal with hard wood for a smokey flavor, rubbed with a cajun spice mix and topped with baby portabellas
Bottom of the plate:
The onions - peel a whole vidalia onion, core it out and drop in a chunk of butter and a beef bullion cube. Wrap in tin foil and bake it in the oven. It comes out pretty tasty...

Hey guys, haven't baked in a while. Made some white chocolate brownies the other day. That's melted red-colored white chocolate on top with some more white chocolate drizzled over that. Very holiday and festive if I do say so myself.

Got bored today and made these little pockets for the kids. Chicken, broccoli, cheese and a cream sauce with flaky crust. Homemade hot pockets I guess lol.

Gah, I am full and those still look awesome.
Hot pockets, minus 500 calories!

please elaborate
They're my crappy brownies. Lucky just saw them and wanted to post them in the thread to see the reaction they would receive. I made them from scratch but they werent as fluffy as I wanted and ended up having the texture of a cake rather than brownies. not to say they didnt taste good but they weren't much of a brownie so much as cake bites.

Oh, so it's okay to insult them if they are my brownies? Thanks bro.

I think they look delicious and I'd eat the entire tray. They are definitely more appealing than some of the other dishes posted in this thread including most of what I've done... like that pork roast lol.

Forget the naysayers. They are not crappy. Bake on.
