Yeah, but Canada is doing REALLY well. You also forgot to mention Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Japan, Denmark and Taiwan, that also have multi-party structures. All of them have better economies and social infrastructures than the US does right now... so no. They don't need to have a "charismatic leader".
Japan is replacing their PM every few months, Canada, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark are all undergoing significant civil unrest because of necessary budget cuts (that coalition governments can not make for political reasons, and Taiwan is going to be a Chinese client state in a decade.

Hey, let me making broad sweeping statements too about countries because of a single issue

Canada has less civil unrest than we do for shit sakes. And since when has northern Europe done shit in the economy? You mean Spain? Or Greece? Not Northern Europe?

Really haven't paid any attention to politics, even if I should be. Really don't care about this one, I don't think Romney nor Obama is fit for the job.

Also, I found this kind of cool:

Just wanna point out that Sweden still have 2 majority parties, I think we're doing pretty well because politicians here are ideologically close and can work things out quickly in case it's needed.
