I finally completed two of the missions yesterday, and it was a blast. We tried a third on medieval mode, and could not get past the first wave. But it was a blast.
So far, I am enjoying this much more than multiplayer, though I imagine that will change.

Does anyone else find Mann Up mode on Mannworks nearly impossible with a bunch of random people? It's the only place I haven't sliced through. I'm almost tempted to... gather a team and... go on Teamspeak and... talk with my voice lemons.

Mannworks is next to impossible. Everyone I've tried it with so far is either playing as an engie or scout. Scouts aren't good at killing tanks. :/

is the only way to do it. you will have like 3 engi's with random ppl. you need a scout, soldier, demo, engi, medic, heavy thats it.

My personal fave for dealing with tanks is heavy w/ warriors spirit, max attack speed, ktriz medic and kritz canteen. sounds odd, I know, but it works surprisingly well. max upgrade loch n load demo with krtiz kicks serious as well.

I found out something interesting.
If you play in a mann up map that you've already completed, you won't recieve an item, but you keep your ticket.
that means you would only need to get one ticket to play in the places you've already played in

Edit: i know this was said before, but it was thought that you didn't need a ticket to play the maps you've completed. you do need one, but it won't take the ticket from you

Was playing with An Apple and Night Wolf on Decoy. I was a medic, Wolf was a medic, and Apple was a shotgun heavy. We got to wave 4 somehow.

Oh look, I'm finally going to beat Mannworks on Mann Up mode with a bunch of random people after 2 hours of trial and error. All the deflector heavies are down and the last 2 tanks have only just left the gates. In about one more minute we have this game won.

hl2.exe has stopped working.
