This is how i see things working best, and I've played with teams like this getting all the money and A+ ratings.
scout on your team with fan o war, this is excellent for taking out 'the big guys' just mark them for death. also use mad milk.
ignore shooting at sentry busters especialy at the cost of the bomb carrier moving forward, engy can move sentry at last minute to save it, just dont build dispenser to close
2 heavys is a better combo than heavy / demo, upgrade penetration is priority then firing speed and followed by health on kill, get engy to put dispenser for use of team members to keep ammo, if he uses dispenser for his sentry it is a waste.
use pyro instead of solly, the airblast comes in handy for dealing with bomb carriers, and pyro has a better movement for getting right in the thick of things, esp with health on kill bonus. I personaly had great success with using the phlog and uberflask. you can charge your mmmphh within seconds, giving you crits over and over.
best medic upgrade scenario... build ubercharge rate first, 300c for first, save the other 100 for wave 2 in wave 1 you will not need your flask filled, so dont spend that 100.. once you have charge rate maxed out, upgrade overheal amount, to keep your charge rate building at max poss, for the longest time. after this upgrade your heal rate and overheal time alternately. use the amputator and melee tanks, it can hit faster than the ubersaw and you can taunt to heal if needed.
The most important thing.... get all the money, you will need the bonus credits for higher waves. although on the final wave, dont focus on the money, you are nearly done.

That day when you crashed, we had to restart after waiting 30 mins or so to play... it took us at least another hour before we got matched to a server.. so all in all about 2hrs waiting for a game...
I'll invite you later, gunna do some more tonight. :D

I don't want to bother you with more waiting time lol.

I'm up for some as well, if I'm not sleeping like Ruelel might be.

Edit: Try adding me, I get error messages when I add you.

They should force you to play 5-10 rounds of Boot Camp before you can MANN up. Seen a ton of players without anything but stock weapons.

Peeves so far:
Scouts not using FoW or Mad Milk
Engies still using Grordbort Weps even though they have no penetration now and keeping the dispensers next to them and not in the field of play.
Heavies using the Huo Long and not using Rage to hold down giant robots
Demo playing Demoknight. Kritz stickies for the Tank.........
Medics using any medi gun but the Kritz
Soldiers not using the Buff Banner

Pyro can be ok if they know how to air-blast and use the Attendant set hat. With their need for close range they should replace your scout if you go that route and be your cash collector.
Spy.......except for large robots they stink at the tanks and will hurt your team in the later rounds
Sniper......opposite of Spy. They hurt you in the early rounds and only in the later rounds by sniping the medics on giant robots and spreading some Jarate around do they become even remotely effective

My most effective set up that I have seen has been

2 Heavies (Brass Beast)
1 Medic (Kritz) or 1 Scout (If you have a solid solly with the banner. Scout needs FoW and Mad Milk)
1 Engi (need to know when to pick up his sentry and run)
1 Soldier (Buff Banner a must)
1 Demo (Ktitz Scottish Resistance Stickies for the tank and large robots)

Agree with alot of these but a two things: first, Demomnights are extremely effective if there aren't alot of Giant Heavies in the match; and second, Spies are kicking ass, surprisingly, for two reasons - dead ringer + disguised for grabbing dropped loot to get A+ credit ratings if upgrading the knife (espcially attack speed and armor penetration) and are talented backstabbers for when uber medics drop. Note that during tank rounds, spies can switch classes and simply not upgrade anything, then switch back to spy for next wave.

Other than that, spot-on observations

Appreciated. Haven't seen any spies really do a solid job while pubbing. That may be the reason for my hate. Blew through most of a tour yesterday and had a blast. We went with one heavy and played both medic and scout. Worked out well.

The demoknight deal still worries me because of the tank and groups of fast scouts. Our demo was dropping waves using the SR especially if he was kritzed.

Why does it take so freaking long to get into a boot camp game? I have to wait 12 minutes to get in to one!
