Ban Appeal

  • If you are not the person that was banned/muted, you are only allowed to post evidence. Trash talk is unnecessary.
This ban is half a year old, you have 33 blocked connects on your "main" account and six on your "alt" account.

Needs to be some statute of limitations on bans.

That's not what he said, he asked you to explain why you got banned for r_drawparticles. Having it in your config will not get you banned, you have to have some program forcing it. If not that, explain how else you did it.

the only programs i have downloaded to my tf2 are my skins and hud, and i know the website my friend used for the hacks

Here's a suggestion from a non-admin.....it's obvious your story is bs - anyone who's read even 2-3 of your posts can tell you this. How about you simply come clean, admit what you did, apologize, and hope that the very reasonable admins here give you a second chance? They give chances to people who are repentant, not liars.

I'm not bothering to have this conversation, I gave you a suggestion on how I've seen people get unbanned in the past, if you choose not to take it that's your own prerogative, I'm not involved in this - its up to the admins who banned you.
 
We know you are lying because that convar can't be changed without a hack program.

And hack programs like that are broken every couple weeks by vac and tf2 updates, so claiming someone installed it a long time ago without you knowing is an obvious lie.

The question is, do we unban him? I could care less about r_drawparticle. However he should know that smac will ban him if he tries it again on our servers. And he should know that if i do unban him, and i see his friend on our servers, i will re-ban him and not consider unbanning.

I say we unban him. Not his friend. If he really is hacking smac will have no trouble picking him up. But i doubt it. His friend was hacking, he won't be unbanned.

So basically you make up a lie to get unbanned which you know nothing about, have admins assume your innocent and try to talk it out if its possible, then when your questioned just retype some random words you caught while looking through it.
