:seriously:Title. There's traps in which engie can put down a dispenser and not be killed.
So either take out the Dispenser or the Engie class altogether.
:p.....................wait
:seriously:
I thought you can map edit? Or fix the scriptng with the diepsner so engies cna walk through it or something.
Like engies build on where hale stands?I can only edit the map if I have the .vmf file. Which would require the original author giving it to me.
They're not getting out of the traps. They're sitting in the traps with their dispensers, and not dying. I've seen this happen on more than one map.
No. They get sucked into whatever trap, which is supposed to slowly kill them.Like engies build on where hale stands?
I am a little confused. Map? and cna i join a game that may happen? No. They get sucked into whatever trap, which is supposed to slowly kill them.
They then put down a dispenser and stay alive in the trap.
No. Decompiling a map requires me to remake all the custom textures the previous author used, as well as other issues with decompiling. Can't you fix the maps?

with a bit of skill you can easely destroy the senrty's. Dissabling engi/ dispenser is just no sollution. There is rage after all.
+1Is it possible to disable the engineer class on only deathrun maps?
When you import it to an entire different game of course some things will need to be changed, such as shields. Is there some kind of official blacklist for deathrun maps?
Everyone keeps saying to disable this and that for deathrun, but in some maps, the author specifically says not to disable all the classes.
I think in Garry's mod where this mod originated, all the players have the same weapons so they don't have to deal with imbalances.
heavies with sandviches can survive slow death traps forever as well. one user, Dirty Dan, is known for doing this on dr_slay, either to survive a slow death trap or to get behind the train in the same map, and since the train stops at the end to block anyone behind it from winning, he then goes into "friendly hoovy" mode in an attempt to grief Hale into suicide.ill +1 this.
they don't get pushed back on certain traps, and on the ones that damage you slightly until you die they can stay in there forever.
Actually...Disable minis for the love of god. I've only played Hale a few times, But a single mini has the knockback to push hall off cliffs, In fact. This one map me and Ducky did, There were two Engies camping on a ledge locking Hale in a corner with minis.
