or ask him what his favorite type of porn is or even if he has time to enjoy something like that
You could also ask what type of relationship he currently as if any

I find that small talk over the Internet is pretty pointless. Maybe it's the difference between male and female, but when I send an email or IM, it's usually for a reason. I might start off with a "hey", but that's about it. My philosophy is that I'm "aquatinted" with people over the Internet and my real friends are people I know IRL.

I tend to be. I also have my computer on a lot with steam open so I come back half the time with messages from four hours ago that I never bother to respond to or I'm watching a movie on Netflix or something and I don't both to see the message..

Well yea you're right but I was just telling dave that because he is trying to strike up an interesting conversation with Bottiger but couldn't think of anything interesting or serious to talk about with him

You: Hi. I was watching the esea 6's tournament livestream. It's really exciting to see people that good playing against eachother. (insert link). Have you seen these guys play before?
Bott: No.
You: We'' they're really cool. The teams playing right now are flow and Br0. Both teams are kinda nonsesense. Flow doesn't really work together as a team at all, and they've gotten to lan basically through shock and awe techniques and br0 on the otherhand has a really scary scout that seems to carry the team.

You: YES. Well, I hate flow and I hope they lose.
