There is an annoying mic-spammer on 24/7 upward. He mimics people and when people say be quiet politely he makes fun of people. He also talks in an annoying voice.

His name is Dabeastchad, with the use admin before his name. Subject to change.

You get the buffer overflow when a person with a reserved slot boots you off the server. I agree with Zebra that a client mute is the resolution in this case.

That's what causes it on our servers. Generally the error is a client issue though relating to your connection, not the server.

With the VSH servers, the rule is a little more relaxed, but if it's causing buffer overflow it's a problem.

the problem at hand is that he was talking on his mic, repeating the exact same thing other people were. Thats trolling. It can easily be resolved by people client muting him. If it was a big deal there would of been a server vote on him. Which didn't seem to be the case. I am not going to ban someone because we got one report about him "mimicing" people.

Client mute solves most of the spamming problems. If the spamming keeps happening then i will ban the person.

Buffer overflow usually happens when people spam mic and text. This is due to Steam being retarded and holding back packets to not exceed what it thinks your internet can handle.
To reduce/eliminate this, follow the first 4 steps of this. If it still happens, follow this for each game.
