Declined Vanilla servers?

Servers that use only the vanilla weapons?

Sorta like a competitive server made for people who want to show off the skills that they have using stock weapons or some stuff like that. It would be cool, 1 or 2 in each location, ya know? I'm a fan of vanilla weapons, and I know many people out there are too, and everyone knows that when that 1 week old dude who found a phlog walks up to you with 1 health, shit goes down with broken monitors

I disagree with that! Know why? Think about how many people are with skial, okay? Now, think about how many people complain about overpowered weapons? How many topics are created DAILY trying to ban the weapons? I think the servers would fill up easily after being introduced

NO ONE WOULD JOIN IT. i dont care what you say, because you're WRONG. if people cant use their unlocks then they wont join.

Then, if you feel so bad about, say it calmly, this is a suggestion forum, not a forum to bash on everyone who gets an idea. God...
 
i think we could at least test out how popular it gets. if it isn't, shut it down.

i see like a total of like 5 posts regarding over powered weapons. i do not know what you are referring to here..

As for your argument. the only two weapons people complain about are the enforcer and pompson. sometimes the phlog. 3 weapons. not really enough to make a vanilla server since everyone is typically fine with everything else

I still think that the main reason the phlog gets a lot of hate is that everyone seems to treat the phlog taunt as a beacon, they all gather around it. It's as if they think if they dry hump the pyros leg, he won't kill them.

And how exactly does that harm you if there's a Skial server nobody joins? That's Bottiger's concern, not yours.

Sadly it was turned down before though and I don't think the circumstances changed since then.
 
If you guys feel so bad about, then fine. I give up, I thought this thread would actually have a chance and some people would actually try to support it instead of everyone automatically bashing on the idea. Thanks, though, now I know how some people of Skial actually are.

I'm gonna turn it to Declined, I gave up after half of all the posts were about how it would suck.

edit* No, not yet, I will give it a chance, maybe better people with more hope and people who give ideas more thought will come around and see it.
