Scramble isn't balancing properly, perhaps a misconfiguration. On every skial server I know, scramble balances very well according to the scoreboard. On this one you end up with very unbalanced teams, like first 5 slots of the better team twice as strong as the first 5 slots of the other team.

Well, I think donating protects you from being scrambled. I could be ENTIRELY wrong though because I've only heard this from someone and haven't checked the donations page myself.

I don't think protection form scrambling but protection form being forced to the other team.

I don't think speculating about this is necessary in any way, there should be enough people around here who know the answer, right? And you even could READ about it, if you would read the donations page. And no, donating doesn't protect you.

I should have gone with my initial instinct and neglected to speak with the pony faggot initially, if you're going to be a gigantic bitch about it.

Here's some more speculation for you:

Why would the scrambling system be different on just one server?

EDIT: On US5, where I usually play, the scrambles are often times so random that most of the good people on the server at the time do end up on the same team. Once we scramble it enough times, it does get balanced out briefly, save for the morons that hop into spectate for about 10 seconds to unbalance their team so they can get back on their original one.

Because servers are configured one by one, manually (at least I guess so because skial is not a big company with thousands of servers and configuration routines for anything). It can even be reasonable to have different configurations on different servers, especially if they are 24/7 servers and so are running only one map. Just think about it... or try.

And no, there is no restacking taking place here, I watched it several times, and there was not a single restack of a good player, it was just scrambled very bad according to points. And on each and every skial server where I watched a scramble, teams were quite balanced afterwards.

I am a donator..........donating does protect from auto balance. and it does give you /swap, and /hat and a couple other little things. but IT DOES NOT PROTECT FROM SCRAMBLE.........the scramble's not broke. deal with it. find a chick, stop being a whiny little ponyfag bitch.

I'm pretty sure I got autobalanced in my donator time. And there is NOTHING about this on the donator page. Wouldn't make sense either. But this doesn't matter anyway. There are only around 1-3 donators on 32 slot servers on average. Nothing that could result in such a big disbalance.
