Don't usually do this so sorry if its bad on the eyes in formatting, but wanted to bring up a request for the server after running it through a few ze regulars on the matter since there has been some slightly problematic stuff to come of having on-demand restart votes around;
  • Requesting that Restart Round votes be changed from a 70% requirement to an 80% (Something more unanimous; harder to do.)
  • Another request, could a loss (zombie win) be incurred to successfully passing a restart vote?

  • Point 1 - Currently, players tend to use the restart vote as a tool to end a round that was (already) on the path to losing to speed up a reset for a better attempt, which is fine if people want to just stop multiple Humans from delaying a round where a voteslay won't cover.
  • However, there are instances rounds where it is completely winnable on the Human side (through item usage/coordination etc); for example last night we had a round of roughly 4-5 Humans alive on Quicksand w/all items + ultima up; and people restart voted just because they're dead; or don't know any better about the map being item-spam carry to easily carry a Human win on lower ratios.

  • Point 2 - Restart voting currently messes up knowing how the tempo of an attempt on a map is faring; (people who join late and see a 1-0 on the scoreboard won't know if a map already got restarted multiple times prior) and it also makes it harder to gauge if any extends are left before the next map vote timer shows up at the moment.
Feel free to chime in takes/better suggestions.
  • Someone suggested only allowing Humans to call restart votes.

Need more context on the quicksand example, even if it gets to 80% requirement, 4-5 make a difference by 20 players, so more filled servers will have the same problem. Allowing only humans to call restart votes would let them stall.
I think it'd be better if the restart option gets blocked at a certain point (like when it won't if next round is a map change) depending on what tp the session is on, take the max amount of tps on stages and block the restart if on the last three for example.

I don't think point 2 is too relevant, since it's more related to server time and extends, would agree that there should be at least a command that tells you the max time of a map and if there are current extends available, there are instances where maps go 0-2, 1-2, 1-4, 2-4 and it's also hard to tell if extends are available.
