i'm fine at engineer. However, engineer's ability lies heavily on his team. If his team basically says, "Fuck you engineer" and leaves him to defend his own buildings from hoards of enemies, then yeah, engineer isn't going to do very well. However, say on Badwater on the second point, if you have your entire team on the roof along with a level 3, you can successfully hold the second point for a very long time.
