Not sure what you're driving at, but I'll bite. My stepfather assists blind people (usually newly-blind, due to injury, illness, or just old age) adapt to life by teaching them how to do things blind. He teaches them how to read Braille, how to use a computer without their sight, and how to just get around the world without the use of their eyes.

My mother's physically disabled and can't work (she developed diabetes during her last pregnancy, which led to several other complications with her heath).

I'm a member of the ConVict group. Higher-ranking admins that you can't just buy into. Invite-only part of the community.

For what it's worth, you can verify this by looking at the Steam group here. It's an invite-only group.

My personality here isn't some facade for a relatively small internet forum. Who I am as a person and as a member of Skial, quite frankly, has everything to do with whether or not you - or anybody else - should determine whether or not I'm fit to be an admin.You may have missed it, but I personally led one of several crusades against a particular user of this site who was abusing his power, and had actually been adding people to the scammer list with no evidence because he got into personal disagreements with them. I know what power abuse looks like. I know how to recognize it, and I make an effort to stop it. Again, this is something that I have no idea what you're referring to. If you're using a petty internet argument over pony pictures as grounds for these ridiculous claims of yours, then I'm afraid I can't even take your argument seriously, as it looks like nothing more than a cheap dig at my character. Oh, I dunno. I figured that aside from a small handful of naturally irate users, I'm on most people's good side around here. I've stuck up for peope around here more times than not, I've made several friends here on Skial, and only a few "enemies" (even though I honestly don't care enough about most of them to be angry with them). Some people don't like Spiderman posts. Some people don't like MSPaint posts. You can't please all the people all the time. If there's "a lot of users" who wouldn't want me to be an admin around here, I encourage them to speak up. Truly, I mean that. If there's something I can clear the air about, by all means, let me know. However, it's only fair that you speak for your own self here. Let people voice their own opinions on the matter.

Now please, if you're just going to continue making things up, save yourself the effort and don't bother. If you have some genuine complaints with the way I operate, please voice them. I beg of you. But if you're going to make petty assumptions about how I would function as a server admin, when you've nothing to base these ideas off of other than a baker's dozen of My Little Pony pictures, then save yourself the time, effort, and quite honestly, the embarrassment, and don't bother replying.

I know shitstorms seem to follow me wherever I go around here, but really, this isn't the proper venue. If you want to have a pissing contest with me, I'll gladly have a pissing contest with you through the proper channels. But this isn't the place. By all means, post a separate thread to complain about me. Post a ban request if it suits you. I have no problem having an actual discussion with you, but only if you're willing to have a real discussion, too.

I'm not making things up, I legit don't think you're the type of person who should hold any type of power in anything. Look, defend yourself all you want, it still doesn't change the fact that you've angered/annoyed a lot of other users around here for various reasons other than pony shit. No one cares about pony shit. Put that pony stuff aside for a second and really think long and hard. How about you realize that shit storms follow you FOR A REASON. You cause trouble. People don't actively hunt you down; you've pissed and antagonized a lot of people in the past by messing around with them and then they react to it. Again, it's the trolling. If you cannot realize that you've started shit and are part of your own problem, you're less qualified of a mod than I actually gave you credit for. You can say that it's "your personality" and if it IS your personality, that would make you even worse of a person to be a mod, since you're pre-disposition to be a jerk to people because you think it's "just a joke" and it's "funnay" and "it's just the internet guyssssss". I honestly don't care if you're the nicest guy in the whole wide internet. You cause shit. It follows you because you make it. I didn't think that was so hard to comprehend. You can disagree with people, no one cares and that's your right, but when you actively piss people off and troll ALL THE TIME, people wont want you in charge. I mean, aren't you the person who didn't care that Skial is turning from it's once lovable taunting of one another to full blown asshole-ish- out to get each other- trolling? Trolling a little is fine, everyone does it, but when it becomes 'your thing' and you know it's 'your thing', you really need to re-think becoming a mod. No one cares about your "friends" or your "group" on Skial. A good mod should be on somewhat neutral terms with everyone and having "enemies" means that you're against a group of people that disagree with you, meaning you're more incline to act harsher and more agressive against them. And you don't encourage people to speak up, you're notorious for trying to shut people down with your 'trolling'. Call it "Jokes" all you want, doesn't make you look any less bad when you make them.

Because there are people with issues against him, and people he personally dislikes does not mean he's more likely to inflict harsher penalties. On the contrary, if I personally applied for admin I'd refrain from actioning people who I have a personal issue with and ask for feedback from other admins before doing anything of the sort. Many of us don't really care that skial is turning from it's "once loveable to trolling" because if a post or person annoys us, we simply ignore them whether by forum ignore, or just simply mentally. This isn't real life, the so called "trolls" are not outside your window holding up cardboard signs of ponies, if his threads or his posts annoy you IGNORE HIM. FYI trolling =/= having a different opinion than you. I personally think Xel has done some good, which if I went to state the good would start another storm from a month or so ago that we'd rather not revisit.

Instead of making sweeping generalizations why not present facts? You have the ability to find previous threads and posts he's made, LINK THEM and point out to us where he is a troll, you do not win a debate via making general statements. The clip from Family Guy of Lois running for mayor saying "9/11" as answer for everything comes to mind here. Be more specific, you have the abilities to point out things - maybe you'll change some of our minds if you present evidence that he was trolling.

All in all, speaking from a spectator point of view (I barely speak to Xel) you seem like someone who got into a disagreement with him in a previous thread, and now are bitterly trying to prevent him from becoming an admin. Prove me wrong, go thru his previous posts, link posts that you felt were trollish, tell us why - this is not rocket science.

Again, I must repeat - please present us with something more than "He has disagreements with people, he has a group of friends."
 
You seem to be lacking in the area of essay structure. paragraphs include a topic sentence, sentences taht expand on the idea, then a closing sentence that transitions into the next sentence. Often essays will begin with a sentence that is a great generalization, bring in more specific information and end with a thesis statement.

Let's just have me add in the paragraph breaks for you. :D

People have become way too sensitive regarding ponies from either side and i agreed with the point Xel' was trying to make; although he could have chemistry issues with other people/admins around here, giving him my neutral vote.

So from now on, when every anyone tags my post as dumb or troll. I'm going to do the following. Post their name in bright blue bold text along with a link to their profile, proceeded by a nice shiny image that conveys my opinions on the party or parties in question. Not the image I originally wanted, but apparently someone has a stick up their ass about racial epitaphs and suggestions of fellatio. So, let's test it out on a couple of douchebags here.

People more than likely wouldn't rate your posts dumb if they were on topic. Honestly, what I rated dumb how does that in anyway add to the conversation at all? You contributed nothing to the conversation, and what you posted wasn't the least bit funny so therefor I rated it dumb - common sense. I'm a little puzzled. I'm looking at some other admin applications, but this one seems to be the only one that has turned into a paragraph war...
