Lord Killington

Legendary Skial King
I want to start making models (got an NVQ level 2 in CAD, so I know the basics of it) and was wondering if anyone might know where to start? Thanks

I'm pretty sure this includes all the basics, wasn't hard to find.
www.teamfortress.com/workshop/

I know Doctor Who on here has created a small item for the pyro, contact him.

I also think Maya is what most people use for tf2 items although there are good alternatives.

Yeah I know I've had a look through that, I was hoping for more specific from people who've done it
And Maya? Something like $3,000

I'll put the link in a spoiler or white text whatever. He's from UK, he doesn't need to VPN torrents.

Didn't you hear, SOPA, CICA etc didn't pass?

SOPA was put on ice, yeah. Not sure what happened to ACTA, but I think Sweden signed it.

I deleted the link from his post. He can find it himself at the top of the Google search. I would rather not have that posted on the forum though. Also, if you're bypassing an ISP block, you're inherently breaking some form of TOS you have with them.

Blender is much more used for TF2 items over Maya, especially since maya is 3,000 and blender is free.

Blender is good, mainly because it's free and supports many formats through plugins
