So at the Windows 10 event today, Microsoft announced the Windows Holographic, essentially an augmented reality headset. Unlike Oculus Rift or other VR headsets, it uses see-through lenses and AR to place the game in front of you.

I can't wait for this to be publicly available, but odds are it'll get released in a few years, be complete shit, then years after we'll get something somewhat close to this video after it becomes open source and everyone can modify it
 
This will prob be out in 10 years or so. Just think about how far we have come in gaming the past 15 years.
