Why are we so obsessed with trading?

Just tell me why because I always say to my self after this trade I am done with trading BUT IM NOT :( someone tell me why we are so obsessed with trading?.
 
because you have this overwhelming propensity to spend money(most of the time) on a video game
 
I have no idea why you are obsessed with trading, especially with the scum trading community full of lowballers and assholes in general. Boy, am I glad I'm not bothering with it.
 
the only time I trade is to exchange my metal for stranges that I intend on using
 
People get jelly and trade stuff for stuff to get more stuff....I don't exactly understand, nor obsessed about it
 
Trading is bullshit and ultimately unsatisfying.
The only reason I used to trade was because I wanted the games which I can't buy over here - i.e. CoD and Skyrim.
After years of wrecking my brains trading, I finally got frustrated and gave up on it. Still can't get any one of the above. Probably won't ever be able to get them.

1. We get drops for shit we don't need, so have to do something with them.
2. people like to show off their epenis bp
3. we want hats and misc, to make our character look individual.
4. Because everyone else does it (Baaa)
5. People think they're going to get rich by spending 6 months trading to work up to an unusual.
6. valve makes us do it.
7. It can be a good way of making friends
8. you are mad bro.
