When I was in high school, I went to a Catholic high school. We had Theology for four years. The first two years we learned the usual Jesus stuff, the third year we learned -nothing- because the teacher was a moron, but the fourth year we learned -everything ever-. We learned about all the religions in depth. It really opened my eyes because now I can have a religious debate with someone of another religion and say I know more about it than them.

it's funny cause in RE (or RS whatever you want to call it) at my school (catholic school btw), we had this teacher who was a total legend. He was old, he'd taught at the school for 39 years (retired this year actually) and knew everything about religion ever. Ask any question, he had an answer.
But he was just like "fuck that let's watch films." So we did. AI, The Way (FUCKIN MARTIN SHEEN!), Freak the Mighty, all great films which I would never have watched and apparently had a moral that we all missed....then when we got near the exams he'd give us all a booklet that was more or less the answers to the exam. And STILL retards managed to fail.
Drag Queen knows who I'm talking about.
