Which anti virus do you use?.

I use Avast Free Antivirus and anyone using MSE should check the chart out.

Have had Trend Micro for 3 years and I run Malawarebytes here and there on a manual scan. I really like TM, but it did let one key logger through. I have been planning on using Avast on my next build.
 
No reason for me to use any. One is the obvious reason, and the other is that I'm not an idiot when it comes to web browsing.

Because of highlighted item on this chart I do not trust this article. But yeah, NIS 2013 is damn good:

Nice software. However, with powerful suites it causes issues: for instance, it prevents some Norton SONAR real-time protection modules from loading. The same issues were detected with BitDefender. I would use with caution.

I don't use it, it's not "final" enough for me (bugslol), and I'm not particularly worried about getting a keylogger.
 
I used to have Avast and it's great for free usage but I recently purchased Kapersky when it went on sale. The worst part about it is it slows down my start up time but that's to be expected.
 
None. And it has been years since I had a virus or anything close to it. I remember very clearly when it happened. 3 am, tired as hell, and the millisecond after I clicked the link I knew I fucked up. But that is what backups and cloned drives are for!

I know how you feel but most of the time some stuff I think is a virus when it aint because i'm a paranoid motherfucker.
 
Microsoft Security Essentials paired with Comodo Firewall do the trick fine for me. Avast is great but the lack of control bugs me - I shouldn't have to go into the registry when I want to turn it off.

I have installed Avast Free Antivirus in all the computers in my household and they have never been infected so far. I installed MSE in one(not my pc) and it got infected by malware, I ran a scan with MSE in safe mode and it came clean while MalwareBytes detected them. I know I won't be installing MSE in any of my PCs if there are better and free alternatives to it.
