What made you join Skial?

well the first time i went onto a skial server was when i wanted to see if i could play on stock maps with this craptop and i went on kc3 dustbowl.
then i saw tf.skial.com a couple times and finally joined the forums.
 
Met lpN on some prophunt servers a few months before I joined Skial.
One day I decided to join a game of his, on a skial server, got hooked, here I am. thx lpn
 
because I needed somewhere To Drown My Soul away.
It was 2010. I was at my Grandfathers House to stay. I Had To go to a Miltary School. I NEEDED SKIAL BADLY.
 
The original people who were dustbowl regs were the reason I joined. I liked how Cinic, Classy, Scrambles, Creepy, Badguy and a few others would troll eachother in good nature and nobody would get legitimately butthurt. Was some of the best times I have ever had on TF2. Then came the F2Pers and Bronies and fucking ruined the entire thing.

Edit: Also had lots of fun on the original Skial Forums.
 
Found US21 randomly about a year ago (mid September or so), enjoyed the server and finally joined the forum five months ago

Got bored one day and looked through other communities ban appeals for the entertainment which eventually led me to Steam Rep's Forums, from there I saw the Del Piero ban appeal and moved to Skial to get more information and floated around without an account, reading posts and such for a good month before finally making an account.
 
For some reason I had the Skial Dustbowl NY server in my history, think I might have joined a friend ingame. I had mostly been playing on trade servers and decided to finally play the actual game and found most of the people on the server to be cool.

Edit: I live in Central New York so I get good ping to the server which is also why I chose to play on it.

I'm not saying F2Pers aren't fun to play with. It's just a completely different atmosphere from what it was in the beginning. Back when Skial only had 2 servers.... I miss those days...
 
In all seriousness though, I joined after meeting Del Piero on a trade server to troll him further. He apparently couldn't handle my manly voice.
