Yea, I remember hearing about some guy who found a way to see what other players see in their screens. He ended up catching a bunch of high level players using wallhacks, and radars awhile back.
Though, I'm kinda shocked vote bans outscored racism.

Edit: Oh look, me tired as hell made a typo.

I dont see why we'd ban people for using Fov changers

No thank you. A part of Tf2's gameplay is flanking, and FOV changers make it too easy to spot others trying to do so. There's no way to adjust your FOV in the core game and the first variant of the FOV changer got blocked, so I think it's clear proof they don't see it as part of the game. Unless you want to take a 5 minute detour for a single backstab ofcourse.

Changing your FOV is allowed in the console, so I'm not really sure what you're getting at...
And the bans aren't specifically for changing your FOV, just hacks that utilize it (rather than an aimbot or a crithack). It's like adding a minimap from any other generic shooter game to your HUD.

he's talking about the fov changers that allow you to have fov above the capped 90

viewmodel_fov is not your actual FOV, mind you.
