Which one's the best? Which ones do you prefer? Which ones have the best/worst capabilities? What do you like/dislike about them?

I've always used IE6, up until I got into the Mac craze, then I used Safari, then Chrome, now Firefox.

I loved Safari, it blew away what I knew about web browsers and how fast they were, I thought IE was the only option. Got a Mac, slightly regretted it, found out about Google Chrome, fell in love with how fast it was, but I'll stick to Firefox as it's open source as well as more supportive towards HTML5/Open standards and not Flash.

Here's a few I'd recommend best to worst imo:

https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

http://www.apple.com/safari/ (Windows version appears to be dormant/discontinued)

http://www.opera.com/

I really like the idea of Chrome...It's sleek and fast and pretty but Firefox is generally just more well-rounded.

I actually forgot to mention that Chrome has a new API for Flash, which I've heard is even worse than the plugin version of Flash.

Yeah, the API is shit, I really don't like it at all, only reason I'm still using Chrome is 1) I have all my settings saved on here to my liking and 2) All my favorites are saved on here too, along with logged in websites like Steam Community, Forum, TF2 Outpost, etc.

I use Opera, I find it more convenient than the other browsers. I used Chrome for a while, and it's a pretty good browser, quite fast. When I got my laptop my friend showed me Opera and I gave it a try, still liking it.

I use Firefox for speed but I think Opera is the best browser... Firefox has stolen so much from Opera over the years.

I think everyone can agree that firefox has a more complete plugin collection.

I use chrome, only because firefox was giving me massive performance problems. Window would freeze up if I had too many tabs, lots of stuttering and I couldn't find a solution anywhere that worked.

I've never had a good experience with Safari. IE is tolerable, though I don't enjoy using it.

Who cares about plugins? People are always getting stupid plugins that they never actually use. It reminds me of back in the day all the stupid apps you would get for your computer that were useless like Zonealarm, Bonzi Buddy, and all the stupid "fast download" programs... all any of them are doing is clogging down your machine.

Only plugin I have installed is Adblock Plus.

Plugins can be crap, but they can also be quite useful. Greasemonkey, if you know how to use it, noscript, adblock, lastpass, session managers, etc.
