All too many often I see either the following:
  • Too many skilled soldiers doing overly mass and unfair damage to hale.
  • Half the server think they can be M.L.G with the market gardener but just end up dying rendering half the server useless.
Can we please consider limiting the amount of soldiers to 6 at the most.

They're not OP in my opinion

It's simply people not exercising basic tactic and common sense.

Like a hale who keeps getting backstabbed over and over because he doesn't watch his back, so he claims spies are OP. Yet watching your back and being mindful of spies renders them virtually useless.

Market gardener soldiers are super easy to deal with too:

- Don't run in straight or predictable lines
- Don't ignore them the whole round, especially on open market gardener friendly maps
- Just like you watch your back for spies, keep an eye out on the sky because you can see them coming from a mile away
- If they're still very problematic, pick off the team in enclosed areas, not out in the open, then go focus them down when there's less enemies distracting you
- When you're waiting around for something (I.E. power jump cool down) stay under objects that block falling soldiers
- Rage them when they land before they rocket jump away

And there's a lot more you can do

They're annoying and a little on the OP side on really big open maps with big health kits but not impossible to deal with

10 soldiers can decimate hale given if each do 1.5k which equals 15k (and thats not the avg market garden around 1.6-2) which given hale's health usually tops off at 32k that's at least half his health gone. Perhaps the root of the problem are the mantreads, they just make you fly too far. Too far for hale to catch up in time and given that soldiers can jump as fast as they shoot rockets, they can dance circles around hale. And have you ever heard your army is as strong as you weakest soldier? Skial vsh newcomers generally have an extremely hard time dealing with them because they're just too new to know better. And most decent soldiers know how to jump away quickly before hale can rage.
P.s wasn't there a suggestion to nerf mantreads?

Nerfing classes based around new players is a really bad design choice. You nerf classes for new players and players will have a much harder time killing hales that aren't new or really bad.

To top it off any new players who are trying out hale will be completely destroyed regardless of how hard you nerf classes.

Some hales just have to learn how to 'git gud'

I have no issue with soldiers, in fact the component where their taunt buff is the longest is a huge necessary buff ...

BUT
cough military_area cough
SOLDIERS ARE MORE ANNOYING THAN SCOUTS.

At first when people picked up man-thread lib launcher I thought it was cool, but it's gone too far now.
Please, for the love of god. Make the health packs small health packs in stead of the full health packs.
With the (soldier/demo) reachable platforms and u shaped deck on that map, it's also real easy for them to avoid rages.
