New to the forums, but been a skial enjoyer for a while.
Specifically regarding ZE, often I see 2 maps I like, and 2 I dont during map voting. And more often than not it ends up being a constantly replayed map. I think having a second round of voting of the top two voted maps would help.
For example, a voting list of; Current Map, Map1, Map2 and Map3 are listed, and i would like to play either maps 2 or 3, but can only vote for one of them. So i vote for Map2 and it obviously fails in favor of some other over-played map. I suggest for example if, Map 1 gets most votes, and Map 2 gets second most. Then it goes to a second round of voting where people who voted for Current Map or Map 3 can then vote for Map 2 if they prefer it over Map 1.
Lets say 20 players vote, 6 pick Map1 and the rest pick the other options. That means Map1 wins with only 30% favorability. In a second round of voting, the other players could vote and it could be as low as 6 favoring Map1 and the other 14 preferring the second best option.
Just a suggestion as I would like to see better variety and think this could help.
*edit, having a dynamic percentage beside the name showing how many people voted for a map during voting could help, but still runs into the issue of once a vote is cast, cant really do much.
