Seems kind of pointless. Kick the player, they reconnect instantly.

All you did was cost them 2 clicks and 15 seconds of their life

I know. But I mean if someone is spamming and they get muted, then once they can talk again they start spamming again, I just think there should be a kick before they get banned so that they know they should probably stop.

The only reason anyone would be able to continue spamming post-mute is if it was an admin-issued mute via sourcebans, or if the mute was expired. In either case, it should not be up to the players to have to kick the spammer. That's the admin's job. This would be a pointless addition to the votemenu and would only lead to more vote abuse.

Votebans and mutes last 30 minutes. If someone continues after that then you should make a report here on the forums for admin intervention.

When we had vote kick with lower requirements, people complained that abusers were using it to grief. Since kicking is not logged to a single place, and people don't report kick abuse as much as ban abuse, it was the logical decision to remove it.
