Declined Unmoderated Server

We got a lot of nitty gritty players out there. Even people who are well mannered and respect the rules enjoy messing about on the unlawful side of things. (example: Admins and regulars being racist outside of skial, and KillerZebra hacking on his alt)

We have a sector in the skial forums for messing about, and we all know this to be the unmoderated.

So I was wondering ... what if we had a Unmod Server to do the same shenanigans but with TF2 gameplay?

Most of the rules no longer apply, except for those of course which are federally illegal (i.e. giving out personal information and child porn.) But actions like griefing, racial slurs, and other stuff are immune from bans/mutes/gags. Hacking being allowed on this server may be a stretch, because I don't know if it would conflict with VAC or SMAC.

As terrible as it sounds, I feel like it'd be full pretty often. It could maybe even be a way of deterring trouble makers off of skial's main servers, to do their treacherous things in a single place permitted to do so. '

Or should we just forget this idea and go to Valve servers to commit atrocities?

I don't know if it would conflict with VAC or SMAC.

SMAC is a plugin and you can leave servers VAC-unsecured, so neither are problems.

I was thinking it would be less of official maps, and more of the highly modded maps. Like that one where the cat pops up and starts shooting lazers from eyesballs, yes?

Other than some admin approved no-clipping and minor griefing, everything else is in the rule book is not allowed, right?

You're basically proposing the TF2 equivalent of The Purge. I don't really care what individuals do if they're not on Skial servers, but I don't think Botty will really go for a lone server that you can do anything on. Sends the wrong message IMO.

Guaranteed you're going to see screenshots/videos on Reddit or other forums online with people micspamming racist songs, being racist in chat or, if you want hacking allowed, hacking on the server. All anyone will see is the skial logo and then they'll say "wow my suspicious about this shitty server were confirmed." Not a good PR stunt, and why would we want people who are openly racist/own hacks on ANY of our servers? That's just stupid.

Not to mention we already have something like this called the idle server, minus allowing racism/hacking, and that seems to be pretty good.
