I think it's the other way around though. For pyro not so much, but it's very effective for snipers because they could actually be scoped in, but it doesn't look like he is. So it's kind of hiding your actions.first of all, i agree with the racism-ban for the weapon, so no need to unban.
about the glitch:
there are 2 sorts of glitches
Civillian - the arms of the player are aimed downwards, the weapon pointing down. the player can't fire his weapon, and therefore is completely useless for the team
High5 - Right arm of the player is up, weapons pointing up. in this glitch the player still can use his weapon, normaly, but the animation don't show.
I have seen the H5 glitch being used on hightower a few times, people told me they hold the taunt-button at the end of the round, and make sure nobody H5 them, to get to the glitch.
it is using a exploit, but i don't think it's griefing because they can still fire the weapons and help the team.

It's an exploit. Also when in the High-Five taunt glitch the hitbox for headshots is off.
Is the high-five taunt glitch bannable? I see people intentionally try to use it because it does give an advantage of not seeing the animation. It seems to be the most useful for snipers and pyros. I can understand if it happens by accident, but I see people with it round after round sometimes.
It's an exploit, but sometimes it's only client-side on specific people. I've accidently had it activate a few times after a high-five, but only some people see it that way. I've also banned for high-fiving into the enemy base. Also when in the High-Five taunt glitch the hitbox for headshots is off.

Because it can be a glitch that happens accidently as pants said, it has been disabled completely in ugc cfg.
It's called an item whitelist. It's how they disable any item.By which I mean...that's freaking possible?
