We will be moving some more servers in order to take advantage of newer hardware and pricing.
  • TX servers will be moved sometime in the week starting April 5th.
  • Classwars LA will be moved to TX as well to give east coast players better ping.
  • US servers will be moved sometime in the week starting April 12th.
As always we will try to move the servers when they empty out at night. If this does not happen, we will try to move right before prime time, or after an update if we are lucky enough. If your favorite server is missing, you can find the new IP at https://www.skial.com/servers/ or use the favorites adder program.

We have been notified that the new Chicago server is experiencing some small connection issues.

Servers that have been moved to the new server will unfortunately experience a connection loss early tomorrow morning some time between 2am and 4am CDT in an attempt to fix the issue. TF2 servers at the new server have IPs starting with 104.153.105.

This is the message we received from the host.

Our next troubleshooting step will be to upgrade the Cisco IOS version used by the switch. We will be doing this between 2am and 4am CDT on Tuesday, March 14. This upgrade will require that the switch be rebooted, so there will be a loss of connectivity to your service, which we expect to last less than 5 minutes.

We received another downtime notice affecting ALL servers marked US including the Idle server.

We are updating our network configuration in Chicago in a way that will allow us to add additional upstream providers in the near future. We have scheduled this maintenance to occur between 3am and 6am CDT on Wednesday, April 15, and we expect for it to lead to approximately two minutes of connectivity loss for your service (though it could be less or slightly more).

We will attempt to move the rest of the US servers at the old machine after this event.

The maintenance only disconnected 2-3 people so we did not move them.

We will probably move the remaining servers during the day since they do not empty out at night.
