So. This is a thread dedicated to the glorious tuxxy. I just got one myself, not cheaply, but I still have one. Reason why is, not just because they look classy as fuck, but I also believe these things are going to be removed, and be worth alot in the future. Spent a total of around 15-18 refined on one, hopefully I profit later. But the question is, will it be removed?

From Wiki: The Tuxxy is a community-created miscellaneous item for all classes. It is a white dress shirt with wingtip collars and a black bow tie. It also adds French cuffs and gold cuff links emblazoned with the Team Fortress 2 logo for all classes with the exception of the Pyro, Medic and Spy. Lastly, it adds team-colored lapels for the Scout and Pyro.
The Tuxxy was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "The Award Winner".

Valve would remove this and stop making money because???
 
I didn't have enough to buy this, but I tried crafting it. All I can say is it didn't go well :(

they did this with the BMOC, ebeneezers, ect. But I see your point. Those were promotionals and NOT in stores :I
 
But then again, the same deal happened with the Voodoo Juju, summer sale items ect.
 
I want it for the soldier.

Woudln't make much sense to keep a 2nd annual saxxy item around forever would it?
 
It's a gamble mutton stache and you should take it. Last time I didn't take a gamble I lost a chance of buying a duped max head for 2 scrap. Even today I feel remorse...

A guy traded me and wanted me to buy a duped max head for 2 scrap. He told me it was duped so he will sell it cheap and still make profit. I was thinking at the time won't valve remove it from the game then? And at that time all the metal I had was 2 rec so it would be quite a big downfall on me. I put in 2 scrap he accepted the trade but I rethought it and the last minute I declined the trade and left the server. Thinking back now how much the max head was worth I feel violated.
 
If they end up selling for 2 keys or less I'm gonna get one for sure, or just hope they don't get pulled from the store and gradually deflate.

Ain't no way I'm paying like 10 - 11 ref for one unless it's a sure bet they'll be removed from Mann Co the following day.
