I heard CiNiC just got hit with a potato sack full of reality after he wanted to write a friendly message to new admins and give them any type of advice or reminders on things, and realized that no matter what I say, it would just get trashed by the less intelligent, overly anal and obnoxious admins, and it isn't worth the effort.
I miss having handfuls of (read: prominent) admins who were friendly and made the Community feel more like a group of brothers, to an extent, rather than a competitive cubicle-office in a company.

Becoming an admin is like getting a dildo with thorns curved down the shaft shoved in your ass. It feels pretty good at first, but then you realize you're not gonna be able to pull it out.
 
All of my agrees for cinic. Being an admin doesn't mean you should be nice, but most people (I.e: ruelel, mittens, zeebs, etc) still sct like assholes. You don't need to have feelings to be an admin, but being a constant robotic douche doesn't help the community as a whole.

I know, but being nicer to people wouldn't hurt, and would probably make our players happier to know we have friendly admins
