I remember this game. It was so much fun and I made some friends on there that I still know. But the problem was I.....just got older. I may sign but really it wouldn't be much of a loss

I know how you feel, we all get older, but Toontown is not like any other game. This is like another universe, a place to socialize and make friends. They say that tech makes people anti-social and stuff, but I think Toontown is a perfect example of just the opposite. Please do consider signing both petitions. I hear someone else out there may buy Toontown to keep it alive, so let this petition say something to them too.

Times are changing. No petition will change them from shutting it down. You know what will though, PLAY THE DAMN GAME

People say this about WoW, Everquest, and tons of other MMOs. I mean, some people even feel the same way about the communities they've built up within Skial's individual servers.

Frantically clinging to something that's circling the drain doesn't help, sad as it might be. Toontown was an MMO for children, and only a portion of it was free-to-play. It's dated and there's no point for the company to keep shedding money just for the nostalgia of a few.

The memories you made and the people you met are what you cherish. Take those and move onward.

You may be right, but why let go of something that you can still hold on to?

Because holding on to things for long periods of time makes you stubborn.

Do you want to keep your old memories of the "good times"? Or do you want to continue reliving that old fantasy? Remember the good times, relive them through your mind. Hell, find another game that's similar to toontown and relive it that way.

I nearly cried when I found out about this. I spent so much of my childhood playing that game... but hey, all good things must come to an end.

Okay, we may not be able to stop it, but until the closure, everyone gets full access as if the were a member for free. This is your chance to experience the full game before you never see it again.

Just because they can

Disney is a company. The reason the game is closing down is because it isn't profitable enough for Disney to justify keeping it online. They are moving their focus to profitable development and no petition will change the reality of the situation.

You can only milk a dying cow so much.

It is free for the time being. I will end up playing it but this makes me reminisce on the days when it was awesome. I still have those cards they sent members and...*sob* dammit keep it together! I will miss it dearly!

As a matter of fact, Disney said that they wanted to focus on club penguin -_-
If they aired those commercials again and revamped the game, I think Toontown could make a comeback.

Yeah, if I look I can probably post some pics of them

So I booted up the game and the intro music is bringing me the super feels :(
