"Penrose presents the argument that human consciousness is non-algorithmic, and thus is not capable of being modeled by a conventionalTuring machine-type of digital computer. Penrose hypothesizes that quantum mechanics plays an essential role in the understanding of human consciousness. The collapse of the quantum wavefunction is seen as playing an important role in brain function."

Chronicles+of+the+Black+Company.jpg

Chronoicles of the Black Company is the most recent. Its like if you took a generic warbook and added wizardry and lycans n shit. Lot of standard sci-fi/ fantasy authors, Orson Scott Card, Stephan King, Terry Pratchet, Tolkein, ect.

Then you got Orwell, Rand, Hemmingway, and Tolstoy for favorite classic authors

I realize most of his books are controversial, but mainly i read them for the mystery/entertainment value

So are we posting good Books that's we've read here? Cause there's this really great Series I read a few months ago, and before You ask, no, not Harry Potter. :p

EDIT: Found it. The Last Jihad series by Joel C. Rosenburg. Read the first Chapter of the first Book, and was hooked in an instant. I'm to lame to post the pic here so just search "The Last Jihad". :P

I'm currently reading the "Game Of Thrones" series. which will take a very long time

HBO actually stayed relatively true to the book as well (they just added a bunch of unnecessary humping)

I read the captions under the porn pics in a magazine I was looking at while dropping a giant shit. Does that count?
