Hey Peeps.
Playing here a few months and just wanted to shout out some thanks; for letting me blow everyone up.

7 days a week.

Anyone on the forums frequent this server?

I used to in the spring. All I really did was derp around with the liberty launcher and sent people flying if they survived the crits.
 
I played a lot of crossbow medic / stickyknight on Orange+ US during the wee hours of the morning.

Now it's basically the same thing, but on Orange+ EU for a chance at intercepting paul. Poor fella can't go a day without aimbotting.

I used to play there, but I got sick of it. If the map was a bit less open I think it would be more fun.

Yeah it is a bit derpy with some of the lack of gameplay style and immature attitudes.
And lets not forget the abused vote system.
But I like the fast gameplay and flying through the air sticky bombing unsuspecting victims.

I too wish the map had a bit more to it, cover, ledges...trees...anything really.
It gets repetitive.

I usually play till I get bored.

I also thought that if the map was low grav 100% crits CTF, and not CP's, it would be big fun.
Meh..the server has a pretty good player base. With some really good players considering...
I'm surprised there is not more interaction here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems most of the skial TF2 servers are devoted to one map each.
Are there any skial servers that rotate maps?

If they're gone then chances are its a glitch or a bug.

Crits will sometimes turn off for a bit from time to time due to a bug or a glitch but Bottiger usually gets to fixing it pretty quickly
 
This server is the perfect place for huntsman fuckery. Especially when it's populated with stand-still-snipers.

I assume he means the explosion radius nerf that was done awhile back where stcikies don't get full explosion radius until they've touched the ground

This must be the reason I feel they are nerfed.
Its the range and speed the stickies travel. Not so much the blast radius, but the distance and velocity.

I used to be able to fully charge a sticky and counter snipers and other classes at a fair distance. I also was able to charge a sticky from the second control point and lob one to the middle tower CP.
Now i'm lucky if I can hit the top ledge.
Another scenario is lvl 3 sentries on the tower.
When jumping over the tower, there used to be enough time to place a few stickies and destroy at least one lvl 3 sentry.
That to me has become increasingly difficult...but I get the job done.
I'm not complaining ,because I can adapt.
But it seems slightly off balance when many other classes can kill you from across the map.

I feel ya. The number of triplekills I've gotten by lobbing stickies at people capping the tower is uncountable.
