TF2 Dodgeball servers

I remember suggesting this to Bot a looooong time ago, in a galaxy far far away..
TF2 DODGEBALL!
Most of you probably have not played it, but it's a LOT of fun. Back then, the creators protected the code as much as they could, but now it's a plugin we can install.

Usually, the servers fill up pretty fast (especially around the evenings)
Thoughts?

When you first suggested it to Bott, what was the reason it was not implemented? Was it like you said, the creators were really protective of who could use it?
 
Is it possible to just add it to the custom maps server?
 
I love that game mode, but the few servers I have favorited for that are usually never full. I don't even join, because there are only three or four people on the server during the afternoon. Maybe that has changed, but I don't know.

I still give this a +1.
 
We had a dodgeball server not all that long ago, I think it's on custom maps or something. I don't recall anything about it getting removed.
 
It's on custom, but people change the map and gamemode so often on custom that there's never enough time to really enjoy the dodgeball maps.

I'm bracing for disagrees and dumbs, but yeah, I know you all want this soo bad, but if we're getting a dodgeball server, then we might as well get a Convoy server.

I know that the #1 reason this would not get accepted is because, as Rue said, it would be hard to fill up. It's one of those gameplays that need easily 3-4 people on each team to be acceptable/not boring, but I was just wondering if we could give it a try for a little bit, see how it goes?
