Why should you be unbanned?
I should be unbanned because in the 10 years since I have been banned, I have put a lot of effort towards addressing and unlearning my hatred, both the conscious hatred I had and would spew in skial's 24/7 Turbine server, and the unconscious hatred I generally carried with me. It took me a while to change, I picked up a lot of toxic behavior from groups I hung around with on video games, the internet, and even real life, but ultimately it was me perpetuating this hatred and I don't mean to shift the blame to those I chose to associate with.
Some of the things I said were racist, dangerous to people's lives, sexist, homophobic, and there's probably hateful things I said which don't fit into these categories, which I only mention to highlight how hateful the things I said were.
I am proud of the changes and progress I've made towards being the person I am today, and I truly believe I am not hateful, and I know the people who know me best would be surprised (and appalled) at the behavior I showed on these servers.
If unbanned, I would not say or do anything mean, hurtful, hateful, toxic, rude, cruel, evil, or anything else which could harm another. I only want to play TF2 on skial's 24/7 Turbine server, the best map, on the most reliably populated server for the best map, contributing to a good game and moments for all.
At the same time, I recognize the harm I have caused to people with my words, and I would understand if the decision was made to not unban me. Regardless, thank you for the consideration, and thank you for all the good memories I had on 24/7 Turbine (and the other servers, but especially this one).
