Ban Appeal
It was a late session between 11pm-3am, based on the people on the server, it'd seemed to be mostly dudes my age (18) or older. Made various sexual jokes towards each other which at the time just seemed funny as in my eyes everyone had seemed to be vibing. Made a joke to a player who I'd been having conversations with along with everyone else in VC, (him not using a mic and typing). The joke went along the lines of "touch my inner thighs" in a deep southern USA accent. After I told the joke someone had said they knew the player and said he was 14. Once told, I was embarrassed and stopped the joke as i genuinely don't want to make a kid uncomfortable when he seemed to be really enjoying the night with us. I later apologised and we'd continued playing for at least an hour. Yes, the joke was inappropriate, however I made a presumption based on the time that the server was full of older people playing, but when I found this to be incorrect - I curbed the behaviour towards the kid. Meant nothing malicious and continued having a good night once we got past the bs. As previously stated, I thought the kid was just another adult, but I was obviously wrong.
Regarding the said 'hack advertisements' it was as response to someone accusing a Sniper of hacking, so I said "get good get lmaobox" to mock the person as the sniper was clearly not hacking, simply a reference to the past LMAObox hacks.
I do enjoy playing Skial using both TF2 and Discord as the community overall has provided over a dozen of my steam friends that I often play with, I hope this can come to an understanding and the ban can be lifted so I can continue as part of the community.
