I mean with all due respect, everyone in the server could tell that was just yelling about the server, as there's nothing in the demo you replied with about telling them to boycott the servers/spreading false rumors about skial. I just rewatched the clip you replied with, if anything its just a disgruntled guy after a long night of playing ze saying stupid things and only mentioned the word insurrection and mutiny once and that automatically makes it trump like? I mean to cause an "insurrection" on the server doesn't even make sense as there's nothing to insurrect and I'm not even trying to be funny by explaining that (remember its a ze tf2 server, theres literally nothing you can do if you aren't an admin so its essentially yelling in the void). As for the me being upset about my friends being banned, I saw a lot of people getting muted and everyone was getting confused as some of them weren't speaking at all. Yeah people were slinging racist insults at each other but that was everyone (NOT excusing it nor trying to downplay it) and hell I didn't even participate in the insults for that session. You can see my report which was declined I made through the report system in game as it specifically states part of the reason people were confused and upset, albeit not properly thought out. Listen it was rant after a long end of a night (which doesn't excuse it because yes it broke server guidelines) but to just say "oh you like uncletopia so why don't you stay there" when I've explained what I meant, and why it wont happen again especially as this is my first violation and only time appealing to anything on these servers ever again within the span of a decade. It just seems extremely harsh for someone who has NEVER received even a mute or kick. Again yes it happened, I did it (including what Metroidz said) it will not happen again, I apologize(even though yes its after the fact given what its worth). Not to compare this situation to others on the appeal forum but after reading a lot of them it just doesn't seem exactly fair and it kinda seems like I'm getting a pretty harsh punishment here. Especially when "ranting about hating skial" during a 40 second outburst for a permaban seems way harsh, Id understand like a week mute or a week long ban as there were multiple people saying actual slurs that still get to stay on the server? With all due respect none of the punishments make sense in terms of equality here and it seems I kinda got singled out.
Ive apologized, explained my reasoning, and given explanation to my actions. Ive accepted them as (mostly) presented and as to why my ranting was misdirected and unguided due to my own (grave) miscalculation. I mean all I can say is it wont happen again but it seems I cant even really get a proper discussion in this appeal as it seems fairly one sided with the replies.
