Why should you be unbanned?

I had been trying to enter a deathrun server (I think it was the NY server) with a VPN turnt on due to TF2 crashing in a matter of time if I don't (this happens with other games too), and I tried to enter when the server was full, but then I got client disconnected and I had to rejoin. After I was connecting again, it said I was perma-banned. I wasn't aware that the IP the VPN used had been banned on skial, and so I had been banned too.

The day before the ban I was informed by a donator on discord when I had asked if using a VPN was bannable, and he said it was OK to use. The donator in question is Metz#4000.

Im that guy in Discord. Sorry about that. Does your VPN change IPs regularly is a static IP?

I think my VPN is static due to a setting called auto connect, as it connects to the last used virtual location upon launch albeit I was switching between some other types as I had just gotten it and wanted to test the features. It's called Hotspot Shield VPN, it has some different types of VPN modes that I was using beforehand.
