Why should you be unbanned?
I personally don't think the ban was fully warranted. The ban was for "advertising other servers", I mentioned the existence of Uncletopia off-handedly and then an admin asked me not to advertise other servers.

I thought that seemed a bit odd, I didn't think of that as advertisement, but went along with it and didn't say any more about it.

I logged on the next day to find myself gagged and muted for a week. That seems a bit harsh to me, I haven't had any incidents leading up to that and had just received a warning for the same thing. However, if those are the rules, I won't mention other servers from here on out. My apologies and thank you for your consideration.

Not being able to RTV or nominate new maps is a pain, especially since the only server I use is a surf server and the quality of the maps vary quite a bit.

You were taking part in a conversation, the context of which was admin bashing, criticizing Skial servers and the rules that help ensure a positive experience for players, and then making comments recommending the use or creation of competitive servers.

We don't want to silence all criticism, but the issue is this kind of language has the potential to gain momentum and encourage other players to continue bashing and advertising competition. Like this:
