Why should you be unbanned?
I was using proton VPN because my uni is an ass and blocks steam. I guess I finally rolled a bad endpoint because previously using proton has been OK. If proton isn't allowed, are there *any* VPNs that are? I could always roll my own that connects to my parent's residential, but that seems annoying lol. Anyho, I still do connect via other networks so if need be I can **NOT** use a VPN.

I've unbanned you, but no, we cannot recommend using any VPN. Because of the amount of people who use VPNs to cheat and evade bans, there will always be a risk of getting a banned IP if you use one.
