Why should you be unbanned?
I believe that there was some error in being banned. I don't really know why I was banned in the first place. I think of myself as a very good player, I NEVER hack or cheat, and I am always nice when I talk in chat.
On SourceBans, it just says "LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP".
I happened to get banned for the first time right after I moved into my new dorm, so this makes me believe that somebody who previously lived in my dorm hacked and got my IP perma-banned (my university has a reserved IP range, so it would not have changed). So once I moved here, the system thought that I was using a new account and instantly banned.
I tried logging in multiple times, which is why there is several bans. Since TF2 doesn't say why I was kicked when trying to join the server, so I did not know I was banned until recently.
If I am correct in my assumption as to why I was banned, how can I prevent this from happening in the future?
