Why should you be unbanned?
My ISP uses CG-NAT and a previous player that uses the same ISP as me got banned previously. CG-NAT reuses a range of IPs. This ban is unfair and IP bans should be eliminated. This is not 2010 anymore

It’s 2024 and IP bans are as relevant as ever. How else do you suggest keeping rule breakers banned?

There’s no other good alternative.

IP bans are effective only on the newer IPv6 protocol. TF2 and all source game SRCDS all use IPv4 only. Like i said my ISP uses CGNAT (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-grade_NAT) to mitigate IP exhaustion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv4_address_exhaustion)

Looks like you are on a rotating IP address and received a previously banned address.

That’s entirely untrue since IPv6 is still widely not adopted. IPv4 is still used almost everywhere.
