Why should you be unbanned?
Phantom Ban?

I have apparently been comm banned. That being said, I cannot find my ban in the list anywhere, nor do I know why this has happened. (I have used the advanced search with my steam ID (76561199056577511) and have found no logs of my comm ban).

When I join any skial server, as of this morning, I am immediately muted and gagged. I don't know when this began specifically. I had some very nice conversations last night on the US ctf_2fort server with no issue, but now I'm unable to chat/speak. I'm assuming this is a mistake.

I'd greatly appreciate this comm ban's removal, or at least an explanation.

Why should you be unbanned?
I've now been PROPERLY permanently banned for... antisemitism? My past mistakes (using an alt to avoid a perma ban) were mentioned too, which are completely irrelevant to the accusation made by administrator gala.

I'm assuming this ban is the result of a conversation I had with user "Science!" last night, during which I stated that I believe certain individuals of Jewish descent control many mechanisms of society, and have been doing so for some time now. However, during this conversation I made it very clear on several occasions that this claim was not targeted at all Jews, and furthermore I do not have any ill feelings toward any race.

Is it really racist to point out a pattern? I understand a swift ban if someone goes, "Yeah man, these greedy Jews own everything!" or something of that nature, but this was clearly not how I regarded the topic, nor is it how I see things. The central idea of this conversation wasn't even around this matter; it was regarding government systems and their potential flaws.

I'm not sure who filed a report, as everyone involved in the conversation was very polite, respectful, and engaging. I'm assuming it was someone uninvolved who listened to 2 seconds of what I said and took everything out of context, then reporting me in an emotionally charged state.

I would greatly appreciate a further explanation on this matter if one is available, as it would be a massive shame if lazy attention and emotional immaturity become obstacles for good dialogue.

I was right on the money with my missing context suspicion.

In fact, the context is IN this clip. I'm referring to corrupt elites; ALL of whom are wealthy, MANY of whom sexually abuse children, and, for some reason, MANY of whom are Jews. I even made it clear in this very clip that I'm just as confused by this as everyone else is when I said, "I'm asking the same question you are...".

For Zeo specifically: If the issue is the subject matter itself, then this is completely fair game, as I could've missed a rule that prohibits this topic of discussion. However, the accusation appears to be that I'm simply being hateful when it's blatantly obvious that this is not the case. I'm also not aware of a rule that states we cannot discuss government corruption in a respectful manner in the VC. If I'm mistaken, please refer me to the rule that validates this ban.

Now, Metroidz, yes this is my new forum account. My old one is linked to my other steam account, which I haven't played on for a long time. This is pretty much my new main.
And Pot Head Wabbit, I've only been perma-muted once technically; the rest of the unmutes were for people under my IP address (who I live with, since they all got the mute when I got one, due to IP bans affecting everyone under the same address).

I could make the argument that this clip is an awful misrepresentation of the conversation, which it is, but I don't even need to do so. I'm assuming you think that when I said "they" I was referring to Jews in general, when I made it clear that I was specifically describing the disproportionately vast amount of elites that happen to be of Jewish descent.

I encourage you to review the clip without any pre-determined opinions, and really look into what I said and how it was worded. Does it sound questionable? Sure, it's a touchy subject. Is it actually what I've been accused of? Clearly not.

It's your server network so you do what you like, but I would appreciate it if you would approach this with zero feelings and take good care to understand what was actually said.

To Zeo: Really? That's interesting, because the conversation was about 2 hours long and it was about communism, socialism, capitalism, and human corruption throughout 99% of its duration. If the entire thing had been reviewed, it would have been noted that towards the end we discussed the unfortunate nature of extremist emotional views, and I talked about how unfortunate it is that many people who agree with me genuinely hate Jews, while I just notice the disproportionate influence. The user "Science!" with whom I politically disagree, commended me for not taking my views to a hateful place, and likewise I said the same to him. I find it hard to believe that you've listened to the conversation in its entirety, but I can't make you do things a certain way. I have only asked and continue to ask that you approach this in a professional manner with no pre-concieved feelings about me or the current subject matter.

And KalashnikovA, no offense, but that's a horrendously silly take. How is it racist to point out that one specific race happens to disproportionately influence the world's systems? This isn't saying anything negative about the race, heck, many Jews proudly accept this and say that it's due to a culture that promotes hard work; something I can't and won't refute. It's a very strange pattern that people are being punished for questioning, which is why I am so curious about it.

I believe I'll have to repeat this: the negative adjectives were clearly directed towards elites specifically. Had you truly listened to this in its entirety, this should be obvious.

That being said, it is what it is. If this subject is touchy enough for you to ban me whether or not it makes sense, then so be it. Even though it's not against the rules to have a conversation, I should've known someone would take it the wrong way. It's the internet.

I have no hard feelings towards any of you, and I wish I could say the same about you towards me. I just want to be professional about things.

That being said, if you reconsider, I'd appreciate a respectful conversation. If you don't, then it is what it is. This is a video game, so no real damage done to me.
