Why should you be unbanned?
Hi, Banned again because I stopped payment for being mistakenly banned? I have played on Sklal servers for over 10, 12 years and never donated. Since I started donating I have been banned twice.

I stopped payment while I was banned, because I had just donated. Now, apparently I wasn't fast enough at re-donating.
 
As I said to Zeo in a PM, I have traded up for all of my unusuals with a perfect trade history and now I get tagged with a Paypal Chargeback Ban for 10 bux. It's a donation not a requiremant. Not to mention I had to let Zeo inspect my computer via Zooom to be unbanned, it's the first time I ever let a stranger access to my root drive and all this because I was banned by accident/mistaken identity. Now banned again from same issue-sorry guys too much.
 
To clarify, I had you share your screen over zoom to check some steam files that would indicate if you had other accounts. I never had access to your computer. You’re one of the people I made an exception for because I didn’t believe you were the same person who hacked in our servers.

If you charged back your donation that incurs extra fees to @Bottiger . You could of just asked for it back and he would of gladly complied. It’s his decision whether or not to unban you at this point.
 
Thanks for your response and clarification. However, someone could have came to me first also for clarification instead of banning me the first time outright in error given my perfect history on the server for over a decade. Also, I meant I gave you access via zoom/explorer/steam. Still, all of this is going to far in my book and to be honest we both felt a little weird right? This is an old video game.
 
I just want to forget all of this happened and get back to playing and trading and possibly donating again barring anymore Admin errors and delayed fixes :]
 
Filing a chargeback is a hostile action. Not only does it incur extra fees like Zeo said, it also damages our financial reputation as enough of them would lead to a cancellation of the account. As well as me having to waste time providing evidence that we did not scam.

Why could you not have "came to me first also for clarification instead of" immediately filing a chargeback when Zeo spent time to personally service you?

If you want to be unbanned, you will have to stop the chargeback and pay $100 in bitcoin as a processing fee.
 
I viewed how I was treated as hostile, thanks for bringing that up. I just donated then got banned with no explaination. Who wouldn't stop payment? You would have. I play everyday and trade and have never had any problems with you or your server and now you're trying to extort me publicly?

You got banned because you connected with the same IP address as a previous hacker. There’s almost nothing we can do about that - it’s how we keep the server clear of cheaters. There’s a lot of people that get banned and make a new account to come back in.

That’s why we have the appeal process though. There’s a lot of tools we have that can easily validate these types of bans. Other donators have gotten banned the same way in the past and just appealed to get unbanned. A legitimate player connecting to a previously banned IP that a cheater had rarely happens though unless you’re on a VPN.

It even says in the terms of service when you donate if you chargeback the payment you will be banned permanently.

I’ve gotten shafted in the past by many online retailers and the last thing I do is a chargeback. Most people talk to the vendor directly.

Bottiger gives the option to pay bitcoin to everyone that does a chargeback. It’s up to whether you do it or not.

This is out of my hand but my advice to you is just to move on.

I'm ok with you erroneously banning me from your servers, it's when you try to ban me from all servers, it will cost you.
 
Now I have proof you are trying to steal from people while holding their accounts hostage,. Mastercard will not like that.

So, what you are saying is -- I should walk away from my TF2 aacount I have had since 2007 because you guys don't have your shit together?

  • You must still follow rules. This does not make you admin. You can still be banned or silenced!

Since you’ve seemed to have lost your mind, your appeal is locked and denied. Congratulations
