Why should you be unbanned?
Hi, I play as bogleg |Dow and hand have been banned to due to my current location of Pittsburgh vs where I usually play from in Florida. I have been playing on Skial severs for over 10 years and also donate. There must have been a player from this ip (hotspot wi-fi) that was banned by Skial. So this is definitely in error so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
 
ReasonLINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP
The reason states I have a new Steamid which, if I did Steam/Valve auto assigned me a new one. I am logged into my account so, Valve must have issued a new steam id and I am playing in an area (university) that a player was banned from, just not me or my account.
 
Just to be clear, I have done nothing wrong. All I did was play from a different location using same laptop and account and I think Valve issued me a new Steam ID even though it's still me/my account. I also connected through a free wi-fi hotspot (xfinity). I believe it was both of these thiings that triggered the autoban.
 
What do you mean wifi hopspot? Are you talking about your phone hotspot? Or are you talking about public wifi?
 
Hi, I am talking about Public wi-fi offered thru xfinity, I connected through that until my cable was installed. It's ubiquitous here in Pittsburgh and offered free. What may have contributed also was the fact that my anti-virus suggested I turn on the free VPN function to 'protect' me from people seeing my traffic over that hot spot network. So, it was a mix of these I believe.

That IP you’re using is still banned, you’ll be rebanned if you try to connect again from it.

I’d wait until you get a proper connection.

Hi, Banned again because I stopped payment for being mistakenly banned? I have played on Sklal servers for ov10, 12 years and never donated. Since I started donating I have been banned twice. Hmmmm would you support that?
